De Buzz-Off Rain Zebra biedt dezelfde bescherming tegen vliegen als de Buzz-Off Zebra, maar heeft ook nog waterproof en ademende bovenkant speciaal tegen regenbuien.
Uit onderzoek blijkt dat vliegen in de war raken van de zebrastrepen en dus bij het paard vandaan blijven.
Net als bij de Buzz-Off Full Neck Zebra biedt de Rain Zebra bescherming voor het hele lichaam van het paard, van oren tot staart. De buikflap biedt bescherming en zorgt er ook voor dat de deken goed blijft zitten.
