How to measure for a Bucas Rug: measure the horse from (A) the centre point of the chest, over the high point of the shoulder, to (B) the rear of the hind leg. When you have the measurement, choose the nearest size from the size table above. The lenght of body, calculated in either metric, will show you the respective length of the back seam.

Some of the Bucas rugs are offered in special sizes: S, M, L, XL. If your horse measures in between these sizes you might be better getting the smaller size, as the larger size might move around more or end up pulling the rug backwards.

Product description

The Bucas Buzz-off range consists of a very fine mesh fabric that keeps away even the smallest insects and offers UV protection. In addition, the products are extremely lightweight and reflect heat, guaranteeing maximum comfort for the horse even on particularly hot days. The Buzz-Off Riding Zebra is a two-piece riding rug with a removable neck and thus protects the whole horse or a partial area, depending on the requirements. The neck piece covers the horse's neck, chest and shoulders. It is attached to the head with an elastic headband and to the saddle with loops. The rear part of the rug is cut like a quarter sheet and has a cut-out for the saddle. Scientific research has shown that zebra patterns confuse insects so that they avoid it.
