As a result of heavy sweating in hot temperatures or strenous performance as well as in cases of diarrhoea large quantities of electrolytes are lost within a short time. Feeding recommendation: For the compensation of electrolyte loss due to excessive sweating: Large horses (600 kg) 50ml - 100ml daily, ponies 30ml - 60ml daily. Recommended feeding duration: 1 - 3 days. For the stabilization of water and electrolyte balance, in case of risk of or during/after digestive disturbances (diarrhea): Foals 50ml - 100ml daily. Recommended feeding duration: 1 - 7 days, when fed exclusively 1 - 3 days. It is recommended to seek the advice of an expert before feeding. Offer water for free intake.
