Glory Balance Rein (System 1)

A balance rein is a training aid designed to support both you and your horse in maintaining balance. When used correctly, it allows you to influence your horse in a way that encourages better collection, more responsive reactions to your aids, and improved balance. This leads to more effective use of the back and helps your horse develop a soft, rounded head and neck carriage.

The reins are placed loosely around the horse’s neck and can be used while riding with or without a bridle, during groundwork, or with a neck rope. Depending on your experience and level of training, you can also guide your horse without a bridle using only these reins. When used together with a bridle, the balance rein can be held as a second set of reins in one or both hands.
