How to measure for a Horseware Rug:

Using a soft measuring or tailor tape, measure from the centre point of the chest (A), across the point of the shoulder and to the centre of the tail (B).

Substract 10 cm (4 inches) from the resulting measurement (for the overlap of the rug at the chest area) and then consult the size table.

The deducted lenght, calculated in either metric, will show you the respective length of the back seam. The length of the back seam corresponds with the size selection box.

Please note: Some rug models are available with different cuts despite having the same basic measurements (body length and back seam). The product name indicates whether it is one of these special sizes (Petite/Mini, Pony or XL).

Petite/Mini: 75, 80 = cut shorter on the sides than pony sizes
Pony: 115, 125 = cut shorter on the sides than horse sizes
XL sizes: 20% larger neckline and 10% longer sides than horse sizes

The Rhino® Hexstop Plus Vari-Layer® Turnout (250g Medium) features an exceptional multi-layer rug design that is both durable and reliable – you and your horse will love it! This medium-weight turnout rug is made from an innovative 1000D hexagon ripstop fabric, incorporating ripstop yarn in a hexagonal weave pattern for maximum tear resistance. Beneath this is an additional waterproof and breathable barrier layer. This turnout rug is 30% stronger than traditional polypropylene rugs while being 20% lighter. It offers reliable protection against bad weather, even if the outer layer is damaged. Beneath the barrier layer lies Horseware's fluffy thermally bonded fiber filling in the Vari-Layer® design, providing consistent warmth and excellent heat retention with less bulk. A silky-soft, antistatic, and antibacterial lining keeps your horse's skin and coat healthy and shiny, even during extended wear throughout the winter. The V-front closure with Surefit neck design and the double leg cutouts ensure a secure fit with unrestricted freedom of movement while grazing and roaming. The rug's intelligent design includes a detachable neck cover, generous belly coverage, reflective strips, three cross surcingles, and liner loops, allowing the rug to be extended with our Horseware® liner range.
