How to measure for a Bucas Rug: measure the horse from (A) the centre point of the chest, over the high point of the shoulder, to (B) the rear of the hind leg. When you have the measurement, choose the nearest size from the size table above. The lenght of body, calculated in either metric, will show you the respective length of the back seam.

Some of the Bucas rugs are offered in special sizes: S, M, L, XL. If your horse measures in between these sizes you might be better getting the smaller size, as the larger size might move around more or end up pulling the rug backwards.

The Bucas Therapy Turnout combines the superb durability and comfort of Bucas Ballistic Nylon Turnouts with the therapeutic properties of the Bucas Therapy fabric.
The Bucas Therapy material is made from an extremely fine, stainless steel mesh that reflects the magnetic fields created inside the body. This action stimulates blood circulation and oxygen flow in the horse’s body and back, which heals and reduces swelling and inflammation, promoting faster healing. It can be left on the horse for 24 hours, seven days a week if necessary as it is NOT a magnetic rug. It is advised to slowly increase and monitor the use of the rug when first used.
These therapeutic rugs are the ideal choice for helping horses including those with back problems or who are a little slow to warm up before riding. It has been known to accelerate the recovery process of some aliments including arthritis and muscle pain. The therapy properties cannot be washed out.
The silky Dermo-care lining wicks away moisture and keeps the inside of the rug and the horse dry. This rug features the patented Click’n Go front with magnetic Snap-lock closure. Available in Classic Cut only with the Neck sold separately.
