Equistro KERABOL BIOTIN is a complementary feed intended to help support the formation of healthy hoof horn and coat. KERABOL BIOTIN contains a combination of biotin, DL-methionine (an organic source of sulphur), and highly bioavailable zinc, manganese (IPALIGO® trace elements) and selenium (Sel-Plex®).
Directions for use: Daily use of KERABOL BIOTIN promotes healthy hooves (greater elasticity and suppleness, helping to prevent crumbly or brittle horn) as well as a silky, shiny coat.

Composition: Dextrose, lactose. Additives: Trace element compounds: zinc (as protein hydrolysate zinc chelate) (3b612): 6,650 mg, manganese (as protein hydrolysate manganese chelate) (3b505): 2,000 mg, selenium (inactivated selenium yeast from Saccharomyces cerevisiae CNCM I-3060) (3b810): 16 mg. Amino acids, their salts and analogues: DL-methionine (technically pure) (3c301): 334,900 mg. Vitamins, provitamins and chemically defined substances having a similar effect: biotin (3a880): 1.3 x 106 μg. Analytical constituents: Crude protein: 21 %, crude ash: 12.8 %, hydrochloric acid-insoluble ash: 8.3 %, moisture: 7 %, sodium: 1 %, crude fibre: 0.3 %, crude fat: 0.3 %.
Gebruiksaanwijzing:
Horses (500 kg): 15 g (1 measuring scoop, containing 20 mg biotin). Foals/ponies: 7.5 g (½ measuring scoop, containing 10 mg biotin). Administer daily with the feed. It is recommended to administer KERABOL BIOTIN continuously to horses with severe hoof horn changes for a period of at least 6 months in accordance with the feeding instructions. Due to the legally prescribed maximum levels of trace elements, this complementary feed must not be administered at more than 200 g per horse (500 kg body weight) per day. Vetoquinol recommends compliance with local and international regulations governing participation in competitions and horse races.
